Tried playing soccer yesterday. Was good palying after a long time. Only a month left before I finally leave Lehigh.
Finally! 4 chapters of my thesis done.. leaving only the introduction and conclusion to be done. I actually have a good mind to write "To be continued.... " as my conclusion. Pity, I a'int man enough to do that.
An intersting observation: The phrase "fuck off!" can used an asnwer to any fathomable question asked to you. But then again, the repurcussion of doing so are not so very fathomable!
My cell phone died on me last week and I have finally got myself a ROKR.It is cool one..with the music playing but the thing I like best is that I can transfer mp3 files onto it and use as my ring tone.. Now i have the all-ttofamous Airtel tune for a ringtone.. never bothered to use it in India although I had been with airtel all along.. but here it seems to to turn a lot of heads.. like a saying i once came across "If the earth was made of gold, man would have died for a handful of dust!"
and i have finally completed Da Vinci Code for the second time...doing so taking up the better part of my Sunday..if Da Vinci was alive today he would have made a lot of money from the book!! Those who have read it can feast on below...
And my thesis is due in like 10 days...and i am still alive and kicking.. and reading books on sundays!! lehigh definitely the most easy system... go Lehigh!!!
Saw Capote yesterday. Voted best picture of the year and all i can say is zilch... totally no comments about the movie.
But I liked one dailogue from the movie where Capote "they were drinking bad, i mean real bad, like famished water buffaloes!". thats a good comparision ain't it.. hehe..
And ya i also watched Chronicles of Narnia and its a load of shit. So try to stay away.
And finally the sun is out! Time to flaunt our fat again!!
I've been listening to music since I was an eigth grader in school. Its been mandatory when I have those long hours of math to do or writing lab records in college. Heck I have been sleeping listening to the same album for the past 5 years!
But today, I've tried something different, thanks to my lab mate Steve. I have basically copied all of his music on to my machine and today I had put the player on the random mode. And voila! i realised he has about 3hrs of recording of a stand-up comedy by Lewis Black and Ron White.
And guess what! its really amazing working while you are listening to stand-up comedy. Something you should give a shot if you are used to listening to music while working.
My day couldn't have got any better. I had an interview in the morning which went really well. Cool!! Then my professor tells me that the paper we have submitted a month back got accepted to the conference!! Great!! my first publication, finally giving some meaning to my master's. Then a couple of other good things happened...(not mentioning the details cause i wanna be discrete about it.. total turn-off, aint it!)
Anyways... like Bono said.. its a beautiful day.... and like my mallu friends say it.. I JEST enjoyed LIKE YANYTHING!!
