Dum dee dee dum da

Hmm.. had a fucking busy fortnight.. gto seriously screwed..

The Def Leppard concert was great..my first concert totally sober cause i was the "designated sucker(driver)"..Bryan Adams actually opened for Def Leppard..anyways the best part being that a friend of mine(Dishant Patel) accompanied me to the concert (he's just recently started enjoying rock)....and he had the most amazing way of enjoying a rock concert..

he got drunk on a couple of beers and he started howling(literally) in the concert.. that was his way of encoring... and now and then he would just shout out "sahi baja raha he baap.. aur baja aur baja"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and the best of all.. his way of head banging was to sit silently for a while and then suddenly get off his seat and shake his body like a drenched dog would shudder off the water on him and start the tarzan-yelling again!!

the american sitting beside him changed places little after sitting with him for 10 mins.. and this was the first concert i was laughing my guts out rather than head-banging. i should have paid him rather than def leppard for the "performance".

and after listening to the 70's hindi music for a week..just decided that bappi lahri is just awesome... and been to this new beer and grill place called loopers over the weekend... was cool.. had couple of cocktails after a long time...

Trivia: just came to know that the "Big Foot" phenomenon was started in 1958.....ya i too thought "Who fucking cares!!"

Yaad aa raha he

Took a sudden liking to 70s hindi rock and roll.. for about half an hour.. listening to yaad aa raha he from the movie disco dancer.. there was a time(i believe it was the late 80s) when i believed mithun chakraborthy was the best dancer in bollywood.. and at that time my knowledge of hollywood and western music was ..lets say limited. hence mithun da was for a period (couple of years) deemed by me as the best dancer in the world ! looking back at the thought i sure laugh my guts out!!

Anyways.. just downloaded the new billboard chart topper "Gold Digger" by Kanye West Featuring Jamie Foxx. Awesome track.. gets ur butt shaking!

october is turning out to be a pretty fucking busy month for me and most of my friends back india seem to be preparing for CAT. so not much socialising these days. and i have a mid-term next week!! waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!

Hmm.. interesting

Was quite an uneventful day with the usual work and stuff. But the evening did turn out to be eventful with a local Philly band called "The Green Jeans" performing in front of the library.. they played all covers including Green Day, AC/DC, Led Zep, Oasis, U2, Black Eyed Peas, even Kelly Clarkson. And it was great too.

Back to work now and schedule nowadays has become totally and perpetually nocturnal as my work hours are currently 9-5 in the night! Need some change of habits for sure!

I Love Busy..

Being busy is really good. People need to be busy. Do something, work related, pleasure related, both if possible. But you HAVE TO DO SOMETHING. Its a darn good feeling to see your calendar filled up. Makes your weekends interesting. And best of all, this kinda mentality works like a charm to keep up your spirits when you have shit loads of work to do.

Back in good'ol Bethlehem, the cold is beginning to build up and the old jackets stacked up higher in the closet have risen again from the dead. Right now the weather is pleseantly cold. Saw Serenity yesterday. It worth a watch but it sure has a wierd storyline. Planning on going for a Def Leppard concert next week.
